Your taxes at work.

Fresh from the "it could only happen in Hazard County" file, your taxes at work. No doubt the claim will be, funded by drug busts and seizures of ill gotten gains, etc .

I look forward to reading what happens when Sheriff Walter T. Farnuckle attempts to apply 700hp, several tons and high centre of gravity to a high speed bend, and learns why they are called the Laws, rather than the Guildelines, of Physics.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

]
A Texan sheriff has had his Hummer tuned to 700hp by German company Geiger. Now no-one will get away.
This Texan sheriff’s Hummer comes with a 7 litre supercharged engine, uprated crankshaft and titanium conrods. The four speed autobox has also been modified. The H2’s power has been upped to 700hp, it’s accompanied by 667lb/ft of torque.
The sheriff’s 6834lbs heavy service car reaches 250km/h (155mph) and accelerates from 0-100km/h (62mph) in 6.5 seconds. Enough to keep up with most of us. Suspension and brakes have also been uprated. The Hummer by Geiger has been lowered by 4¼” and stabilizer bars improve handling.
To make a good appearance the sheriff chose 28” wheels with Kumho tyres sized 325/35 R28. The car will be equipped with the latest communication equipment in the States.

Yes, because every car just has "County" on it for graphics.

Marked police cars tend to have their state, town, or region on them. Plus a sheriff tends to have his name turn up in a Yahoo search. Not this. Also, Sheriff whats-his-face better get a real license plate on there quickly.

I think you got played, since you naturally think the worst about anything American and refuse to question it thoughtfully.

Not making any comment, just linking a DUTCH story about a a ridiculous truck. The rest is all in your imagination.

Not really. If this were true, I'd at least expect a corroborating story from another source. Perhaps if this were true, he'd likely make a website featuring his truck, since he looks so eager to show it off. Like I said, marked cars do not simply have something to the effect of "The Police" written on them - that's for Naked Gun movies.
