An open letter to the kid in the Eclipse.

I'm really sorry I was ignoring you yesterday. It looks like you spent a lot of time putting that enormous airdam on the front of you car. Although I must say, it would look better if you painted it the same color as the car. That wing is pretty cool to.

And you muffler.....WOW, that puppy is loud. No question, you are the man. When you were reving it up, and pulsing the clutch.....well, that gave me quite a thrill.

If I'm not mistaken, you wanted to race me. When you took off, and pulled in front of me.....man, that was cool.

Well anyway, I appologize if I was a little out it. It was a sunny day, I had just gotten out of work, the top was down on the Boxster, and I was thinking about getting home and seeing my 2 year old. With the Miles Davis playing and all, racing was just not on my mind. But I'll make it up to you.

You see, their are these things called 'Track Days'.......

Something broke? Or still skipping the Potomac events?
What's July? Another region? I want an out of region event that my brother can attend with his badass Mercedes.

Cashflyer: SC = Shenendoah Circuit, new track at Summit Point

Probably will do Schattenbaum Region and NNJR events exclusively this year. They rock.

Yup, playing hooky tomorrow and going to Pacific Raceways for the first Speedware Motorsports track day of the year. I'll be looking for the riced-out Eclipse with the unpainted air dam. I'm just sure I'll see our erstwhile Speed Racer there...

Car in my neighborhood had a red paintjob, then a body kit added front and rear in white, then when he bought a set of side skirts, they where in a thai mustard yellow. Looks a bit - odd.

The Black 911 Targa with black and Polished Fuchs that is down that road though, totaly different story.

Yep, I'm still interested.

The car's fine, though I only started it for the 1st time this year this past weekend. We've been selling the NoVA house and already bought and recebntly occupied a DC condo (Logan). Until the house is gone (mid-June), I'm on a track-free budget.

If I get }{arlequin's RS bumper (viper green) and don't paint my ducktail (white get coat), and given my aubergine paint, I'd look everybit as cool as that pimped out Eclipse.

Dave, we may be in the same building.

I'll be keeping Dino, tools and track wheels/tires in NoVA, at a stoage garage. The pimped-out Jetta (Eclipse killer) will live in town.

LOL. You should post that on Craigslist and I'm sure it would make it to the "best of" section.
I think I met that guy's brother in a Lancer Evo VIII. He wanted to race, but was completely stoned. This was after a basketball game in which his team had lost to ours. Long story short, he gave me some Lancer-rev, and I gave him some Porsche-rev. We both took off at the stoplight but I split off in a different direction now wanting to put up with this a$$.
