I would so support this in my community.....

Cosby's been doing this for a while. Yes, whites have called it racist, but I can't think of a single black, either of prominence or an average guy on the street, who has called Cosby a racist or what he says racially motivated.

Racists?
A joke, right?
I read the article/link...I didn't see the racism.
Where is it?

You're being facetious, methinks. ;)
I must be slow today.

Don Ro 05-22-2006 06:05 PM

Hell, a white could say all that and it wouldn't be racism, in my view.
Too much focus on racism in this culture.
Little bitty feelings get hurty-poo too quickly, methinks.

What the hell are you trying to say in the second paragraph (not the bit about the Democrats - you've bashed that to death before)?

You is right. No self respecting black or anyone else of a differen't race, than white, could disagree. Only the race baters, and racist of all cultures disagree. Everyone who has half a brain, and most blacks and people of any cultrue agree with what has to be done. Only the most racist, eg ML Coons sidekick, can state otherwise. King may have been an upstanding guy, I would not have chosen a plagerist as a hero, myself, but be what may, thats their choice. Most self respecting people of any cultrue, race, reject the claims of he race baters, with good reason. Jessie Jackson is a Racist.

This is one of their major problems.

Dr. Martin Luther King: "shiftless" civil rights activist.
You are aware of King's long history of plagiarism, aren't you? His doctoral thesis, which Boston University stated after an investigation had been plagiarized, most of his academic papers, speeches and sermons.

He was a plagiarist and an adulterer, some kind of hero to have.

I had never heard of the plagiarism allegation (I wonder why) but didn't one of his best friends write a book saying that King had been with two women, neither of whom was wife, the night before he was killed?

Not to mention they do something unusual: They teach comparative religions in their schools as well as (my God.How dare they?) family values. The religions are taught as simply the ways in which people worship...no sides or preferences made. Order their textbooks to see how it is done. Here, no one dare mention religion of any kind, even if it is for educational purposes. Same with family values, spelling out the duties and responsibilities of each family member such as respect, understanding, obedience of children to mention a few...

Imagine teaching and expecting tolerance and understanding...What a novel concept!!

Won't fly in this country... it would ruin someone self esteem or some such thing.
;)
Besides this country is kept alive by name calling and placement of blame... anarchy would no doubt ensue.

Boston University, after conducting an investigation, concluded that King plagiarised his doctoral thesis (around 47%) and put a note on King's thesis in their archieves saying as much. Interestingly enough, the same doctoral committee that reviewed King's thesis reviewed the thesis he copied from (Jack Boozer) about 3 or 4 years prior. You didn't hear about it when it was discovered in the early 1990s, because the media covered it up, they didn't want to run the story. Wonder why...

I'm not sure about the book you mention, but it is widely known that King slept around quite a bit, and I have heard that he slept with two women in a motel the night before he was killed. Not sure if there was a book on it though.

and if he was having sex with them does that make him better or worse than a white man?

dd74 05-23-2006 07:30 AM

Good for him that he can hump two women in one night, and plagarism? Who cares? And I hear he had a horrific temper as well. Please!

The good he attempted for humanity far outweighs the wrongs of his personal life, neither of which crossed each other in public it seems since adultury and plagarism aren't widely associated with Dr. King.

Blacks are, on average, worse than whites (e.g., abandon their children at greater rates, are less intelligent, more murderous, more corrupt etc.) and the differences between individual Blacks and Whites are multiplied in their societies to produce the differences that we see between Black and White societies.

snowman 05-23-2006 09:11 AM

Thats just their culture. All cultrues are equal, you know.

I guess King deserves some credit for actually doing something with the ideas he plagerized. But to make him a hero, an icon??? Bill Cosby is a much more suitable person to make an icon. I suspect most self respecting blacks agree with Cosby in general. I don't know why they support King.

So does England have this same problem with Race and prosperity? What of France and Spain?

Well... leaves only two options really:

1) what you linked to is bollocks - no action required

2) what you linked to is somehow based in fact rather than twisting facts. Best answer - spend lots of money equalizing outcomes (through education) for African Americans and any other disadvantaged people.

Oh, and I'm about 99% sure you are Alfred and have been banned twice for being racist.

snowman 05-23-2006 08:18 PM

The info on IQ might be correct, but so what?? Exactly how does this affect legal rights? Not at all. It does affect outcome of education however. But our system is NOT equal outcome, its equal opportuntiy. Unfortunately some not so intelligent people are demanding equal outcome. Not possible, with any race, culture or whatever. These are the idiots that need to be taught something.

No two people are equal. But their rights are.

Lets face the facts, I am better looking, smarter, stronger, and superior in all ways to anyone else on the planet. Everyone else has the same right to be the same as me, legally, but certainly not as good looking.
