| Registered |  help finding a four position rotary switch 
			I need on of these are a fan selector in our Vanagon, anyone know where I can buy one? It need to be beefy enough to carry the current of the fan, so 10amp maybe at 12 volts. thanks in advance for any help Jim

			Jim, Questions: Are you trying to assemble an aftermarket setup? Is there a factory part available? For this car or maybe another you can rob..from a salvage yard? I assume you want 3 speeds. 0/off is considered one position. Newark Electronis may have what you want if MC doesn't pan out.

			McMaster Carr. looks like a cool place I will call them on Tuesday. I am replacing the switch on an afermarket AC system, the original switch had a four position (off, low, med, and hi) and some kind of variable resistor or something for controling temperature. The veriable part is OK, so I was planning on using it and just re-wiring the fan switch. Here are some pictures of the original switch
