It's Friday, my wife and I have a friend over named Gentleman Jack, and I thought about this question. How old were you when you stopped getting carded? I get carded about 50% of the time and I'm 36 in 2 weeks. Every time, I say "Bless you". Any 40-50 yr old guys still get carded? Happy Friday

Hmm, no idea, I don't buy alcohol that often. But no one ever believes that I'm 35. Most think I'm in my 20's

I was 45 and got carded at a restaurant at O'Hare Airport last year. Too bad their policy is to card everyone that orders a drink.

Was carded for the first time in many years the other weekend. I'm 33, but was not really carded when I was under 21 either. Dave

I was carded at 18, but not much since. The drinking age was 18 in NY back then so being 21 wasn't an issue. I know some that got away with at 14 to 16, they looked 25.

I don't guess I've been carded in more than 20 years. Maybe 25. They may not guess my age, but they can tell I'm high mileage and past warranty.

Stopped even getting asked when my forehead grew. Happened a lot prior to that though.

It really sucked when I first moved to the US and was getting carded all the time. I was 23 back then and had been drinking in pubs in the UK since I was 15! I rarely get carded any more (35 next week) but my wife does- and she's 40! Have a great weekend, Paul.

I get carded about 25% of the time, and I'm 27 and live in a college town.

msk1986911, I fly out of O'Hare every Monday and (of course I'm at the bar) love watching everyone's look of confusion when the server asks for I.D.--even the blue hairs! I'll be at the Berghoff Cafe bar Monday around noon, termanal C...drinks on me. Christian.

I haven't been carded since I was about 12. I was big for my age.

I'm only 42 and am getting AARP stuff in the mail already. I still look pretty young but my waistline is catching up to my age.

(edit) The last time I was carded? You're going to laugh...Oregon was having a big anti tobacco push some years back, including sending 17 year olds into stores to buy smokes on a sting operation. This store's management must have told the check out people to card everybody. Yup, a small 5 pack of cheap stogies...I got carded, at age 52! Is it any wonder I'm a crusty old goat who thinks the world is bassackward?

My wife and I went to a Christmas party for her office when I was 30ish. The wife of one of her coworkers asked my wife how old her son was. We were a bit confused until we figured out she was talking about me! DOH! Last week I had a medical test done and the nurse started laughing hysterically when she looked at my chart. When she came up for air she said she thought I was 19 or 20. I turned 42 in April.
