Of course I can back 100% of my statements with historical accuracy. Why would I make statements that I can't back up? OK, let put that to the test. Publish where you have researched these “facts” of yours: I'm telling you the truth. This is the *only* time in history that they (features of "the sign”) are all happening at the same time to this degree. The sign of the last days only fits one generation in all of man's history. Wars, earthquakes, pestilences, food shortages and a global preaching work would all be seen together in one generation to a level never seen before. This the (sic) *only* generation when man has had the ability to destroy life on the planet. My quotes are not from the King James (Version). Times are different now. Everything is increased. Prove any one of these statements without using your inane circular arguments or quotes from the bible. Post the references to support these claims. When Trekkor wrote: My question was simple. "What is your hope for the future"? I replied: The future is very bright. One of the most stunning and far-reaching developments will be the discovery and isolation of the "god gene". This is the DNA sequence that makes people susceptible into becoming narrow-minded, non-thinking followers. Much like the propensity found in alcoholics and drug addicts, this DNA sequence will be treated and/or cell-engineered out of existence. Then a new age will dawn for mankind. No longer hiding behind imaginary gods and fearing retribution, or believing superstitions, or blindly following some religious/political demi-god, man will devote himself to far more productive labors. So a bright, cheery future after all! And as for this Trekkor statement: Most people are VERY concerned about the world situation. MOST are nervous about what's coming next because they have no trust in what their leaders are telling them. The reality: MOST people around the world have third grade education at best, have no understanding of science, no knowledge of history beyond a few years and are perfectly posed to believe this mumbo-jumbo. Have you ever wondered why religions loose membership as a population increases its education levels? |

Could you please nail down a timeframe for this glorious vision of yours. Nearest decade will suffice. |

I don't know your name, so sir will have to do, sir. With statements like that it is obvious that you are not open to any agreement. Thinking people will do their own research. You can do it...;) *Everyone* knows that more people have died as a result of the wars, earthquakes, food shortages and sickness in this time than any other. Say what you will...that's truth. KT |

Trekkor, don't PM me these lame responses, post them for all to see. I repeat; prove the statements you have made without quoting your bible. You do have some basic idea what proof is, don't you? By the way, I have 8th graders that have better research skills than you have demonstrated.
Is this personal, no, not at all? I am just opposed to anybody making statements that they consider fact without having any proof. Call it myth, story, fiction, opinion, fantasy, lies, BS, anything but fact, and we would have nothing to talk about. But if you call it fact, then the burden of proof is on you. This is the way science works and it does very well that way. It’s call peer review, something no religion undergoes. Ever wonder why? If you want to play with the big boys, then comic book "facts" won't cut it. If you are admitting to using and quoting the New World Version (only Jehovah Witness use that), any basic research will provide bucket loads of critical analysis illustrating the errors in translation. It was built on much of the same erroneous work use in the King James Version. The publishers refuse to name the translators used it it's creation, now that is good peer review! |

I've answered many question's. Some several time's. ;)
Some do not like my answers for a variety of reasons. That's OK. This thread, if you will remember, was putting the question to YOU. There have not been ANY solutions to this world's problems put forth. ( another repeat statement ) I'm asking YOU. Where is your hope? Your serious hope and why do you believe it? KT |

There have not been ANY solutions to this world's problems put forth. ( another repeat statement ) Another lie. How many times must I repeat my posted solution.. Mine solves the cause of more human death and suffering that any other. Stop the BS, and submit proof of your statements as outlined twice before. |
RPKESQ ( sir )
Your sci-fi "solution" does not address: crime sickness racism housing basic needs well being world peace death Your "solution" is just a way for you to feel good about yourself while attacking me with another one of your jabs. please stop that... KT |
Trekkor wrote in a PM to me:
who are you? All your responses have been negative and insulting. You take the stance that you are the smartest person around and everyone else is just a dummy. Why do you do that? That statement about the majority of the population having a 3rd grade equivalent education... Who are you? Re-read some of your posts and tell me why you think anyone would want to be around you...Just rude...Rude. I'm not negative at all, I have faith in mankind, sooner or later he will throw off the shackels of myth and supersition called religion and a much brighter future will be his. But I do not allow false statements to stand. If you cannot pass a proper critique and peer review, than that is your problem, not mine. I am not the smartest person by any means, but I am smart enough to research topics and to actually question. I require colaboration and multiple sources before I sign on to something. Now let's see about the statement I made that you think is rude: That statement about the majority of the population having a 3rd grade equivalent education... Well there is aprox. 6.5 billion people in the world and according to the UN the average amount of non-religious education for over 3.8 billion of the worlds population is less than 4 years. So why exactly is this a negative or rude or insulting statement? Just because most people will roll over and not debate or just joke around about inaccurate statements and claims; I do not. If that is rude to you, so be it. I take the stand that I owe it to the world to make it a better place and help stamp out this curse of religion from the earth. |
