The aliens have landed

...apparently.

In a red cloud.

Mysterious red cells might be aliens

(PopSci.comexternal link) -- As bizarre as it may seem, the sample jars brimming with cloudy, reddish rainwater in Godfrey Louis's laboratory in southern India may hold, well, aliens.

In April, Louis, a solid-state physicist at Mahatma Gandhi University, published a paper in the prestigious peer-reviewed journal Astrophysics and Space Science in which he hypothesizes that the samples -- water taken from the mysterious blood-colored showers that fell sporadically across Louis's home state of Kerala in the summer of 2001 -- contain microbes from outer space.

They have been running test on the samples since 2001 and still can find no DNA in it?

This is very weird, invasion of the red rain?

...............solid-state physicist ?

I'm not sure what he knows about DNA, time will tell if he is right as other places are testing the samples.

Remember that India is the same country which paraded that deformed baby around in a bowl.

Good lunch time reading, my yogurt now tastes funny.

Makes Mad-Cow look like a walk in the park, but at least I will not have to give up red meat.
