Anyone rushing out to Home Depot today?

If you are so inclined, that's a lot better than a mail in rebate.

Looks like the deal is only available in Massachussettes. Too bad we don't know anyone who lives there.

The funny thing is that the wife just ordered a vanity from Home Depot this week. I'm interested to see what shows up...

I'm curoious to know how many lucky winners didn't report their 'earnings' - I'll bet the DEA will be paying various remodelers a visit in the next few days.

You occasionally hear stories about cars at government auction being bought and the new owner finding 100 pounds of coke in the body panels. I always wondered if the stuff was intentionally left there to see if the buyer isn't a shill...

"Home Depot sucks".....

agreed on some things. I do buy concrete and some lumber there because they are closeby.
But, if you want customer service, Lowes does a bit better. Having a lock rekeyed at Home Depot costs $5.00. At Lowes it is free. The base price for the locks is identical. I bought a Campbell Hausfeld compressor at Lowes. A year+ later it crapped out. Lowes let me buy a Porter Cable, return the C-H and simply pay the difference.

Home Depot simply sucks the Big One. I had them install linoleum in one of my rentals. They wouldn't do the prep work due to possible asbestos in the old linoleum. Long story short, they completely f*cked up the installation and when I called them on it they said they don't garauntee work done on anything THEY don't do the prepwork on! F*cking *********s..One of my contractor friends took his clients there to look at kitchen cabinets for their remodel. The guy working there tried to talk them into having Home Depot do the installation while my friend was standing right there. Guess where he doesn't take his business anymore. Pr*cks. Oh, by the way, did I mention I hate "Halfway" Home Depot?

We had a news report about a guy who purchased a car from Customs. He used it to go across the border and it was tagged to be inspected....

It took him a lot of time and money to show that the drugs were left in the car by Customs, the 1st time around.
