This statement is not true on all counts.

Post in reply to him by all means (I often do), but keep in mind that Mul is 50% troll, 50% impassioned blowhard.

That's yet more statistics made up on the spot

Yeah, Nancy 'culture of corruption' Pelosi. Pelosi's nephew and Jack Murtha's brother apparently are involved in some corruption themselves. See this Washington Times editorial for details. This 'culture of corruption' theme is backfiring big time on the hypocritical democrats, the biggest bunch of political crooks ever.

He admitted to singing. He got treatment befitting a turn-coat. Sam Johnson did 7 years in Hanoi, half that time in solitary confinement...John McCain's work for the enemy was so "heroic" that they erected a statue of him in his honor...Imagine that, the communists erected a statue in John McCain's honor.

John McCain violated the UCMJ...Sam Johnson did not...Sam Johnson is a TRUE hero, McCain is a traitor.

Its better than being a traitor, like a majority of the vocal American left...Better to be a chickenhawk, defending the honor of a a great country and a courageous military, than a backstabbing enemy traitor from within.

Oh FFS, you need to go look up what traitor is. It is not a word you should be bandying around like that. It is extremely emotive (and we both know that's exactly why you're using it) and should be restricted for genuine acts of treachery and sedition, not disagreeing with the current course the Administration or the military is taking.

Your information on John McCain is just plain wrong. Any research will reveal the treatment he received, which is not what you described, if you were open to objectively looking into the matter.

Look at it logically. You say that McCain revealed "troop movements". Exactly how could he have done that? He was a carrier-based Navy pilot. What troop movements could he have revealed? That the 7th Fleet was still at sea, sending planes on missions on a daily basis? I think the VC noticed that already. And that would have been more of a deployment issue, certainly not "troop movements".

Truth should never get in the way of a good story,MRM.

Toss enough crap against the wall and some of it is bound to stick (to your hands, at least!!)

You must remember, Mul doesn't know a troop movement from a bowel movement.

I have done the research, have you?...Within hours of being captured John McCain was offering up everything he knew. He was not tortured, although perhaps broken up from the crash. This did not warrant violating his oath and the UCMJ; by the UCMJ he violated his obligation and committed treason...One can make the argument that he was coerced to sing...Sam Johnson did not...Sam Johnson spent over 3 years in solitary confinement, John McCain did not.

I am open to corrrection, however...Give it your best shot.

Logically?...He was in an airplane!...Get it?...He was overhead and well-informed of what and where Americans and their allies were. How could that have escaped your logical evaluation?...Whatever McCain gave up, it netted him about as cushy a stay in Hanoi as was possible, and a statue in his honor as the icing on the Ho Chi Minh cake.

They don't call McCain the "Manchurian Candidate" for nothing.
