Thumbs up Next Step in out "Rero" Vett Project

Well, I've shared the drawings of the Spirit of 57 Corvette my business partner designed. He took styling cues from the factory race effort in 57, but he has another design too that takes cues from a 62. We just picked up a low mile 2002 Z06 that has minor front & rear body damage

We will build this car!!

Are you two going into the currency incineration business?

Just messin with ya, but I cannot imagine such a project doing anything but costing multiples of it's end value.

BTW, your drawings are great!

Yes, we are working on the cost factor, here is the other design.

Judging by all of that ....stuff.... underneath your signature, I'd say you already have enough going on and might want to consider finishing what you've already started.

Maybe you can put your vans in the front tire well on the picture above - hahahaa. Just kidding.

Best of luck. I hope it all works out for you.

The difference is the Vette project is a work project, with a partner, and I plan on getting my list (other than tow vehicle, bikes & Vans ) down to;
71 914 2.0 PCA I stock(under construction.)
74 914-6GT conversion with twin plug 3.0(closer to being finished.)
78 911SC
83 911SC cab
87 924S "Cheated"

The int. of the Z06is sweet, but don't think that we will use it

I think the seats in the ZO6 look like the ricer "racing seats" that Pep Boys sells for $199...

I like the sketch of your red one. Very nice lines at the rear. The front of the blue one reminds me of the reincarnated Thunderbird for some reason...the front is too busy relative to the rear.

Nice looking project but hasnt this already been done? I remember seeing something similar in one of the big 3 auto mags-Motor Trend/C & D/ or R & T.
