My cat just caught a mouse in my living room!
Kick ass! Free show!
I got up to go do some studying a little while ago and saw the cat playing with a beach towel that she'd evidently knocked onto the floor in the living room. I figured she was just playing until I saw her extract a nice fat black mouse from under it - evidently she'd caught it earlier creeping around someplace and was now doing that "play with your food" thing they do. I had no idea there were even mice around here at all. The cabinet under the kitchen sink was partially open so she probably heard it back there and caught it is what I'm guessing. . . I thought about intervening, but why? Not to be cruel or anything but the way I look at it, the cat deserves the reward far as I'm concerned. That mouse is f*cked. Betwen her and my other cat I'd estimate its probability of survival as about "0" at this point. I'll get some pics of the disembowelment for everyone's enjoyment if it doesn't freak out the wife too much. She's sleeping and I don't wanna' wake her up.

The two of 'em are pretty well-fed so I figure they're not going to eat it right away. . . It'd be pretty damn funny if they dragged it into the bedroom and plopped it by my wife's head for her "approval". I'm busting out laughing thinking how loud that scream would be. . . Ahhh, if I were a cat the things I'd do. . .

I used to have pet mice and I am highly offended by this post. If I ever caught anyone allowing their cat to go after my mice, there would be hell to pay!
