Deer must be one of the biggest dangers for open wheel cars and karts.

I would say that having your head exposed is the biggest danger in open wheel cars and karts. Look what happened to Sebastian at Cleveland. He’s lucky to be alive. I recall hearing a rumor that Senna died because a suspension piece flew up and speared him right between the eyes.

i think rabbits and cats are bigger issues.
happens every couple of years at Indy. seem to remember something happening during the race a few years back
