RotoZip help
Does anyone have an exploded parts diagram or know where one is posted on line?
I bought a standard entry level $50 RotoZip a couple of years ago despite being told and or hearing they don't last very long. It was a great tool/toy while it lasted, which means it got me though the small project I purchased it for - but no more. What happened is; that the bits were increasingly more difficult to change, and the unit more difficult to reconfigure from 90 degree to 180-degree use, and from drill type cutter to disc type cutter with every use. Then one day I could not get it apart. This was almost two years ago, kind of fuzzy on it, but I took it apart way past any user/owner documentation provided and put all the locked up parts in a mason jar of PB-Blaster to soak. Every few days and then weeks I tried to work the parts free, but to no avail. Then after soaking for a year in PB Blaster I decided to toss it, but gave it one last try - it came apart and unlocked. I tried to put it back together, but gave up quickly as I really did not need it and got very frustrated. Well................ I would like to cut some sheet fiberglass and the RotoZip would be the perfect tool for the job. Does anyone have an exploded parts diagram or know where one is posted on line? I have all the parts, just a matter of getting them all together correctly.

Kach I bought one 4-5 years ago (case and everything) and used it once and then put it on the shelf where it has gathered dust ever since. It's yours for $10 plus shipping.

I have the booklet, but dismantled it past the point of existing documention. I picked up an alternator for the 911 today ($100), once that is in I'll look at the rotozip again, it's for mods to the hovercraft.
