AOL free?
Any AOL users get word that they are going free? Can't find any detials on their own software yet. I've been close to dumping it for months, but didn't want to give up my email address I've had for I think 10 years.

It's only free if you are a high speed user, if dial up they will still bill you. Can't quite understand that??? I have DSL in one location and dial up in another so looking forward to stopping service as well. A hugh waste of money. Can't even get a break by owning Time Warner stock.

Yeah, I have cable through another company. Can't wait to turn it off and save my 15 bucks a month.
Called a suggested customer service number, looks like they are being swamped, said to go online with the service and go to keyword "change plan". I'll try that tonight as soon as I get home.

ive read that was spam... when AOL users send emails to AOL users, the @AOL.com should not come across in the "from" section. Thats a quick and easy way to tell if someone is sending you spam.

Even if AOL is free it is still over-priced IMO.
I had it for a year and absolutely hated it. |
