I am dumbfounded how she could live this long. She now has a room mate, we call her Bong Hit Barb. No more dogs.. now Bong Hit Barb is out on the back patio coughing her brains out every minute of every day. The weed dealer drops the goods in the mailbox at 545 every morning. I know I am late leaving if I see him. Mega Bump!!! |
I never saw the original thread.
I too have obnoxious, rude, irresponsible, and ignorant neighbors. Thankfully I also have one that's pretty good. And a pretty decent place to live..... http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1647395817.jpg |

The guy that just moved in across the street is from the Bronx and super cool. The lady next door moved here from Indian town 15 years ago, she took advantage of a first time home buyers deal where the state builds you a home and you have to live in it 10 years, we all feared the worst, she is freaking amazing and raised a amazing son. Who is a Gator. All my neighbors to the North of me are awesome, a total mixing pot of people, all my neighbors to the south suck monkey balls. Man, I can tell stories for days. When I made this thread years ago, politics were absent from my mind, now I notice things and an interesting fact, everyone South is of a certain party (yard signs and all) everyone North is not (no yard signs) You figure that one out. |
Did she clean up your yard or didn't she?

You have to ask? LMAO!! Hell no!! She does not do anything except exist. She ended up inheriting a German Shepherd from a deceased friend (everyone around her is dying except her) about 10 years ago. I felt bad for the dog, it was going insane. She was treating it like it was a Shih Tzu and it was losing its mind. It was very viscous we ended up putting a 6' tall wood fence between our houses because it was lunging at the shadowbox fence that was formally there. We were afraid to go in our yard. It was outside barking all the time, 5 in the morning, 11 at night, 2 in the morning all day and all night she would let it out and it was stay out there barking for up to an hour. The dog was finally taken away, and put down. Which was sad, as it was not the dogs fault it was that morons fault. It kept attacking them, it put the old lady in the hospital twice, the second time Animal Control took the dog and put it down. The dogs all died off and then Bong Hit Barb moved it. One noise traded for another. The neighbor from hell drives drunk a lot. She kept backing over my poor mailbox. I was going to move it but it protect anyone's car that in is in the driveway. So I fortified it. I purchased this carved out artsy telephone pole it was about 8' long and I sank it in the ground, then threw 6 bags of concrete around it. Then put a Fort Knox mailbox on top of it. The last time she hit the mailbox it did some decent damage to her car. Alas!! She has not hit it since, seems she did not give a crap she was destroying my mailboxes when there was no damage to her car. Now that there is a penalty, she is more careful. She sucks as a human, the only saving grace is my neighbors up the street the other way are awesome. LOL! the neighbor from hell called the bail bondsman in the middle of the night once to come get her out of jail when she got popped for a DUI, he told her he would be there in the morning, she went on a bit of a rant on him, he explained to her, he cannot do anything in the middle of the night. I guess he was her one phone call. She is a real piece of work with no regard for anyone around her. The DUI's should tip anyone off to that. |

being passive aggressive about it? definitely an overreaction and certain to make the situation worse |

Please explain how I am making it worse? I ended up cleaning up after her and fixing my mailbox. 12 years ago. I would end up fixing it a half dozen times as she kept backing over it with her car while driving drunk. So I passively and aggressively installed an aggressive mailbox that fights back. :D |

Doh! This is an OOOOOLLLLLLDDDDDD thread. Jim, is the garbage and your mailbox still laying there? :D |
LOTS of "long time goners" and even old aliases in this thread ... memory lane ;)

That was exactly it, killing your mailbox didn't bother her. Damaging her car did. |
If I'm reading and doing the math correctly, the leaves and mailbox sat in his yard for 3-4 years before he cleaned them up. :D

I think awareness that a thread is 16 years old is like "comprehension 101".
