My father was an elementry school principal for 35 years. Dealt with this stuff all the time. If he starts doing it in public, well thats an issue, but otherwise, prolly no harm. It is interesting, and perhaps not good, that he is ashamed of it.

New twist. He whipped it out in a store today. My wife leaned in and calmly explained this was not proper to do in a store. That it was private, so now he knows that much. He questioned her admonishment. Asking if it was o.k. in the bath? My wife answered, yeah, in the bath not in a store. Your Pishi is private.

So much for the hiding thing. It seems his cousin was the same way and grew out of it.
