The hardest part about gaining any new idea is sweeping out the
false idea occupying that niche. As long as that niche is occupied,
evidence and proof and logical demonstration get nowhere.
But once the niche is emptied of the wrong idea that has been
filling it - once you can honestly say, I don't know,
then it becomes possible to get at the truth.

"World's largest voluntary tax system".

Once again Pat demonstrates his inability to live up to the standards he and his panacea require (usually under penalty of death).

You are SO immature.

"peurile member" = Thom.

And yes, I did say "member." Grow up. Why can't we have a serious discussion about a serious issue without someone poking fun. And yes, I said "poking."

nostatic 10-09-2006 10:20 AM

member, poking, ass, invasion...

About time a thread made sense around here

Is that a rhetorical question? Because what you "say" of your creation of your own government is utter horse*****, if looked at realistically.

On one hand the government can and will come and shut your ass down so fast - if it wanted to - and in short order, you'd be lucky to emerge alive from your small-time neighborhood experiment. Cleaning ice off the road - who cares? In L.A. we clear our own brush from the hillsides so that our homes won't go up in flames. Why? Because the fire department is understaffed? Some of us have generators. Why? Because the DWP grid is overtaxed. We home-school our kids. We stock firearms. But we're not beseeched by ideals that it's a kick in the teeth of the government. We're people who have more important things to do than act like we're 18 and going to stick it to the man.

Secondly, if you feel you're onto something great, anyone and everyone has the power to achieve small degrees of freedom from govt in their lives. If it makes you feel better about independence, good. Hell, anyone has the capability of divorcing themselves entirely from society. You can quit work, live on the street, become anonymous, and say in the end, you're your own government. Or, if one has the money and the means to survive less dependant on society and/or govt at large, I'm sure they can do that as well and take root in some sort of compound. Many have done this.

But in the end, as I said earlier, the power is larger than you and will bend you over, my friend, to make a begging biotch out of you. Whatever fantasy you're living is just an insignificant form of mental/emotional masturbation on your part.

Christ! You should grow up and stop making your life one drawn out adolescent statement of bucking authority. It's a waste of time.

Your writing reveals, to me at least, that you have no idea about what I'm saying, and apparently have no interest in figuring it out.

That's too bad, but it is your choice.

All I'm outlining is that you are in no way novel or groundbreaking, Pat. There are a million nutjobs who seek and have succeeded, to a degree, with what you've done, or are trying to do. Rebellion is old news. Secession is old news. Deal with it.

nostatic 10-09-2006 10:57 AM

And, I'm telling you that what you're taking about and what I'm talking about are not remotely the same thing.

I can't be any more clear than that.

Really? And why is everyone else on this thread of the same consensus that you're not to be taken seriously?

Maybe you should explain why you have your own government.

Careful. He's a poking-ass-invader-member (PAIM). Stay alert. I think we should raise the threat level to magenta. Or perhaps chartreuse.
