Awsum Jim.
I was going to town to buy my tickets for the race around 1980 and the track was open and my BRE type Datsun 510 had to go for it. I had an open Ansa exhaust and a Mikuni side draft carb and down near the concrete barriers the sound was awsum. I was only in high school then and it was another time I will never forget.
