Does anyone have any experience with Acer?

I gave one to my father a few years ago...I didn't want to spend a lot since he is often slow to "take" to new things.
He loved it and has used it trouble free for the entire time. You roll the dice....

I'm on my second. I had three flawless years on my first "Travelmate", and (touch wood) no problems so far with my "Travelmate 4220".

I have an Acer Tablet (C300). I had a problem when I first got it related to the tablet screen. It took 2 trips to Acer to get it perfect. No problems since then, and I should note that every person in my office has had their tablet in for service at least once, regardless of brand. Tablets are touchy little stinkers.
Acer customer service was excellent. I will absolutely look at them again when I replace my current one next year. I beat the snot out my machine, and its on close to 14 hours per day. Damn good deal the the time as well. |

Sounds good, what I wanted to hear was that the quality is good. We have a lot of Dell Latitude at work and they brake down on a regular basis....
How about HP? I found a HP Compaq nx7400 Business with Intel core 2 duo CPU at a reasonable price.
