Melt down....lol.

I am sitting in an 'interview' in which a guy is giving a presentation, trying to get a job with us.

OMFG.....there is open laughter in the room.....its so bad.

The worst part is that the guy thinks that we are laughing at his charm and wit.

This is HORRIBLE.

GONG!!!!

We are not back stabbers. We let the guy know flat out that he sucked.

Its actually not the end of the road for this guy. He's just terrible at communicating in front of a group. He has the core skills, but he need to get his presentation organized. Just like a good book, a presenation has to have a beginning, middle and end. People need to know where they are going, or they stop caring and get frustrated.

So maybe I did not make a GONG sound out loud, but........

you guys need a backchannel projected in the room.

We usually have an AIM chat going, and often we project on a different wall than the speaker's slides. Sometimes we have a googleJockey too.
