Wife liked her anniversary gift! (handgun!)
Much to my daughters' disbelief, my wife actually liked her 10th anniversary gift of a Bersa .380 ACP!
 Per my daughters' request, I had also picked up a diamond watch, however my wife is having me return the watch as she prefers to just use her cell as a watch nowadays. Just had to rub it into all those who were thinking I was nuts in a previous thread I posted about a handgun for the wife.    I must say, as far as wives go, I picked a good one!

You must still be using the "classic" anniversary gift listing.
I think that the modern listing has vials of AIDS tainted blood as the appropriate gift in the "things that are designed for no other purpose than to kill, maim and ruin lives" category for the tenth anniversary. But I could be wrong, I'll have to go dust off that copy of "Modern Bride's Handbook" that my ex left in the closet beside my gun safe. |

i think the most she would lose would be thumb skin. that is a nice firearm. some shooting lessons, and in case of bad times, she can cover the back door while you cover the front.
if i got my SO a handgun, it better be draped with diamonds.

Yeah, I learned that one the hard way while trying out a handgun a few years ago (forget which one). Thing bit me - I guess I was gripping a little too far up. Didn't end up buying that one - if it can't fit comfortably and naturally in my hand without losing skin from the slide action, not the one for me. . .
