In a landmark research paper by the Institute for Education, it was found that the globe is indeed being changed by a certain faction of forum posters.

In this study, 1000 regular forum posters were given one week on the 'Pelican Parts' forum without viewing postings from 'Point Out Truth', and the amount of fecal matter produced was measured.

The following week, those same forum members had to go about their business and also see posts by 'Point Out Truth'. The amount of fecal matter produced increased nearly 10 fold. According to the Institute, this means that 'Point Out Truth' is causing unprecedented release of methane gasses, which is belived to accelerate global warming.

When researchers were asked how to address the problem, they said the following:

"So long as the truth that 'Point Out Truth' is pointing out is ignored or contested, the amount of angry feces will continue to multiply and proliferate. Everyone needs to do their part and click on all of his helpful links. Be sure to read every chart and graph, no matter how haphazardly organized. Realize that white people are definately better, because there is a chart that says they get higher SAT scores. Also do not overlook his Differential Equation homework. Anybody who can solve this homework is clearly qualified to make determinations about racial superiority and climatic changes."

Z-Man was reached for comment, but he had to speak from the toilet. He cried "If only I had known that 'Point Out Truth' could solve differential equations, I could have saved 1000 Baby Seals!"

AFJuvat replied "Anybody who signs onto a BBS dedicated to Porsches and only has the intention of posting helpful links about racial superiority is credible by default. He clearly realizes that to change the world you need to start on a BBS dedicated to maintaining cars."

It was found today that over-usage of the "report this post to a moderator" button has dire effects on our environment. Leading environmental research organization "Raging Tree Hump" reports that every time a post is reported to a moderator, the hole in the ozone gets 5 square feel bigger. This means that everyone will die of skin cancer if anyone reports 'Point Out Truth' for his helpful information.
