That's why it's OUR job to hold them accountable. Not play this lame-ass excuse game if it's of "my party." If we all would get our heads out of our asses and quit looking at party first before making the decision to hold them accountable, then we would have an ethical congress.

As of now, I can't attest to whether they will or will not be ethical, I am not a fortuneteller, but I EXPECT them to be ethical, I expect them to act on corruption for a change, something we haven't seen in a while....

It's impossible to expect 435 people in any industry will be "ethical"....the expectation is to address and root out the unethical behavior, not excuse it if it's party X or party Y.

What is amazing is how quick liberals on this BBS and democrats in general are to excuse or minimalize wrongdoing by the current crop of democrats…while they call themselves the most ethical ever. From Kennedy who committed manslaughter/murder to Hastings who, as a judge, was impeached by the house on 17 counts including perjury, bribery, and fabrication of evidence. Jefferson who recently accepted a $100,000 bribe from an FBI informant that was later found in his freezer, Reid accepting expensive boxing tickets in an apparent quid pro quo. Pelosi recently paid a $21,000 fine for campaign finance irregularities, Dorgan was force to return tens of thousands of dollars he improperly received from Indian tribes…Corzine and Murtha have been implicated in recent unethical practices…Now Conyers.
Clearly there is a pattern of corruption and the excusing thereof…by the democrat’s constituency…yet instead of condemning them for their lack of efforts…all democrats do is make some unrelated remark about the war…as if that somehow excuses criminal, or at the minimum…unethical behavior by their own representatives. It is pathetic.
