Sweet car. Love the color. Hobbies (obsessions?) are always much more fun when those closest to you "get it".

save the agro of raising the rear and just drop the front half an inch! you can then justify having it corner balanced and aligned/set up!

Sounds like you could be in trouble, or in the best relationship you've ever had. It's all in your take on it.
Good luck, it sounds like you may need it.

Andy is right that it is somewaht of a PIA to adjust the rear height - front takes only a few minutes!

Depending on where your car currently is set in the rear for the adjustable spring plates, you can get .5" either way if it is centered... so I'd look at that if you really want to. Very simple to do, just measure properly and ensure you adjust accordingly. I did it last winter and had to re-index the torsion bars, had the car aligned and all is well.. but hopefully you won't need to re-index at all.
My wife drove the car a few times last year, but doesn't love it.. she likes my buddies 993 better! Fine with me.

Are you going to get her her own?
As it relates to the ride height, I would just drop the front.

I do love the 930's and yours is no exception. Very nice. The headlight rims look fine, but better in body colour (imho).
Not sure why the thread's been moved as it has more tech content than some.

I let my wife drive my 911 and three weeks later we ended up selling her BMW and bought a '81 SC Targa for her.

Most women don't like the steering on Turbo's or Carrera 3.2's.
