He totally stressed out in that video on stage, very ugly and yes there is a double standard at play here but that don't make it right.

"Fridays" was great! I had a crush on Melanie Chartoff and I loved the "Ganga Chef" who put dope in all the food. Michael Richards played the kid who burned/blew up all of his toys and the "Pharmacist who can handle it" was also funny! There were two "wrestlers" that made me laugh so hard I almost died. I wish I could find someone selling this show on DVD!!

Ah, yes....Every individual who has been the recipient of some kind of "slur" demands some kind of retribution, whether it be racial, or religious (the Muslim clerics demanding that the Airline publicly apologize for their "outrageous" behavior). Seems as if some folks, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, or planet of birth have become ovesensitive. Partial solution? Ignore those who use slurs. Sooner or later the novelty wears off since there is no reaction.

Also, overuse of ANY word or phrase diminishes its value until it ultimately becomes worthless and meaningless. Have some fun. Pick any word and say it over and over and over. Soon you are laughing about it.

Yea, me too. I was at that age when most everything looked good though. I did a Google image search, she has not aged all that well. Blew a very old fantasy that's for sure.

You need anger management classes, or something.

What a nasty person.

I keep getting thrown out.

Well, if they ever graduate you, try a course in logic next.

Jeff Higgins 11-27-2006 01:13 PM

Oh well; another enlightening thread "Rodeo'd". I wonder why, if you are so obviously incapable of understanding the subject matter, you feel the need to interject? I mean c'mon, most of us already know you as a fool, why do you feel like you need to keep proving it?

Rodeo 11-27-2006 01:19 PM

I take it you're referring to this ... which apparently required you to post how stupid I am.

I pity the people close to you. You are as mean-spirited and nasty as they come.

Yea, the term "redneck" sure is offensive. What with the comedy tour, books, calendars, dictionaries, and TV specials, it's offensively in my face

have to side with Jeff on this one Rodeo. You're missing the point or not following the arguments put forth here...

Redneck clearly is an offensive term to some percentage of the white population. But as has been argued by others, imho there is no equvalence in "bad behavior." And slack isn't evenly handed out. Some terms are more derogatory than others. And of course it also depends on your frame of reference...

Rodeo 11-27-2006 01:50 PM

Is that what he said?

I guess I missed it.

try reading the thread from the beginning...

So you think it was appropriate to respond to my post by calling me "ignorant" and stupid?"

That does seem a bit generous. hiccup....burp....excuse me

Rodeo 11-27-2006 02:11 PM

To tell the truth, I get the two of you confused ... You both attack for sport.

no offense, but you bring most of that on yourself. You either were trolling for some name calling, or didn't read/understand (m)any of the previous posts.

imho. ymmv.

Rodeo 11-27-2006 02:14 PM

I understood that there was a disagreement over whether "redneck" was a racially insensitive term.

Since Jeff Foxworthy has made a franchise out of the word, I think not. That's not trolling. YMMV.
