There is a patch that fixes some of the past issues.

Here it is...

That game is a classic...My favorite.

I haven't played for a while.
I had a computer crash years ago and I lost all my downloaded cars.

I should re-load and run it!

I loved this game for PC (the Playstation version was terrible). Maybe a sequel is in order...?

I also wish for a sequel. My son and I still regularly race each other in network mode. The 996 GT3 is pretty cool, yet tough to drive.

I love this game and still boot up Windows ME (shut up!) occasionally just to play it. Wish it ran in WINE but I haven't made it work yet, especially with my Logitech wheel.

My favorite is a toss-up between the early Turbos and the 356 B Super 90. I love the slow cars as there's less "twitch" involved and more planning and strategy. Fun times!

I love this game. Still the best racing game ever IMO, even if it doesn't have a campaign mode 928.

One thing i get a kick out of is that my real world (2900lb, 300ish RWHP) 928S is faster and handles better than the vast majority of the P-cars in the game.

Anyone here know how to setup the cars to have less rear end twitch? It's difficult for me to get the 930 around a course without spinning it

Change the brake bias. Go with about 70% front braking, increase rear downforce, and try not to change throttle settings in the curves(like in a real 911).

The fastest car in the game is the 935 Moby Dick once you get the hang of it, even though at first it is the hardest(by far) to control.

The 935 is insane in NFS:PU. I bet by the time my kid hits 5 he'll be better at driving it than I am!

this was my FAVOURITE game a few years ago (well I guess it's like 7 years ago now lol)...

it sure is alot of fun but one thing I noticed is that the tires have a whole lot more grip then they do in the real world!

We should have a laptime competition, I think I can do cote d'azur in under 2:15......

Gonna try this one next.

High-speed heavy-metal killing-machine from Estonia: custom paintjob, new rims, upgraded perfomance with max. speed 350+ km/h, superior handling, 0-100km/h about 2 seconds, two coloured interior, new Alpine stereo with Infinity speakers.
