didn't know it was alcohol...right. they wouldn't be the first people to try and feed a crying baby alcohol to put it to sleep..and won't be the last either.

"So she went to make the baby a bottle, cause she kept crying. A pacifier wouldn't work, so she made her a bottle, and when she made the bottle, it was clear liquid. She didn't realize that it was an alcohol," says Jessica Smith, the child's aunt.

So sad that anyone in this country can have kids. Clear liquid, I'm assuming maybe Vodka or Gin? Hell, I can't hardly take that crap down straight. Maybe the baby was Russian?

I saw this story on CNN today. The mother said she grabbed the water bottle which was full of vodka but didn't realize it untill the baby had essentially passed out.

Yea, we need that kid to grow up big and strong in order to do naked Jello shots and 4-story beer funnels on "Girls Gone Wild XII" about 18 years from now.

Does anyone you know keep Gin or Vodka laking aroung the house - or trailer - in baby's bottles?

I can't reveal any identities, but I do know of one instance where a little lad of about two found his mothers wine glass half (well, probably less than half) full of white wine and decided to finish it.
He was immediately made to sit at the table and eat as much rice and bread as possible and drink glass after glass of water. He couldn't have drunk that much as he wasn't too badly affected ( apparently! ). But he did have a hard time sitting upright in the chair for a while.
