So, maybe 2400 people were without dial-up internet access for 2 minutes and the boss gets pissed? Someone (the boss) needs to take a big deep breath, that is not even remotely an issue.

The girl? Sad now perhaps but there are plenty of things out there to replace her with (in no particular order): another one, another two, recreational pharmaceuticals, volunteering, skiing, video games, beer with some friends, quality time with the dog.

My thoughts exactly. You're worst day above ground is immeasurably better than your best below.

Screw the girl let her go, and move on.

Take care of the dog he's more important than the girl. At least he hunts.

Find out your dog is sick after leaving him with friends so you could take some ****ty job in st paul.

Do ya ever just wanna say god-damnit anyways.

If anything, Slak, you're a poet. That was some of the best piss-rant I've read in a long time -- anywhere.

As for the dog and girlfriend sitch - care for the dog - he's what counts. The girl - eh - a piece of ass is just a piece of ass.

Let the GF and Boss spank themselves...You screwed up...now get out of the bent over position, put away the vaseline, and spend your free time finding a better situation instead of feeling sorry for yourself.
Can't be a victim your entire life...
Even Democrats need to grow up eventually.

Slak can take care of himself...once he feels more pissed at me than sorry for himself.
Besides...he is downright cute in a boyish, redneck sort of way....He was a chick magnet in Vegas...so he should have no problem filling his dancecard quickly...no matter which gender he chooses.

Actually, my opinion of him was raised considerably in Vegas. He is not a big, tough guy; but he was one of the few liberals with the nads to show after so many talked tough beforehand. He will be fine. He just needs to move on. **** happens.... and there are lots of fish in the pond. all one needs to do is inprove their situation each time they screw up and they will end up old, wise, happy, and rich....and maybe with a hot young wife who has an inheritance.
