The FDA is thinking about not requiring a warning label, and ...now this takes balls......., thiking also about prohibiting non-cloned meat from being advertised as such. They did that with the bovine growth hormone a few years ago. We already had so much milk in this country that the gubmit buys it and makes cheese to prop up the milk prices, so why did we need the bgv to make more milk in the first place?

That's just the kind of unwarranted interference from government that I rail about constantly. Anyone wanting to post truthful information about their product shouldn't be stopped from doing so, and the federal government is prohibited from stopping the activity by the First amendment, except that the Supreme Court has decided that the First Amendment doesn't protect "Commercial" speech after all, even though the First Amendment and the rest of the Bill of Rights modified the whole of the Constitution when they were ratified.

I don't get the fear over new things. Was in the grocery store last week. Saw something called a "Grappel". It's and apple that's been geneticaly modified to taste like a grape. The girlfriend had a conniption when I threw it in the cart.

She has no problem with some parasite infested "organic" vegetable that was probably handled by twenty unwashed hippies.

Can you imagine the cottage industry of restaurants that will spring up from this, "Real Beef Restaurant" seal of approval?

In 100 years, Cloning will be out of control. It will be ridiculous.

Instead of plastic surgery, they will just clone new body parts.
