The new Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. RE is still playing catch up, but they are headed in the right direction. Fine looking machine if you ask me.

Was coming off the banking to the infield a lot of fun on that bike? Only oval I have ridden is PPIR, and the transition down is brutal.
Pretty smooth as I remember it. Going on to the banking they have a mickey mouse chicane with alligator strips, so its super slow. Coming off the banking into turn 1 is really long and easy.

That does look very nice. I've been toying around with opening up a RE dealership, but the wife (and myself) keeps talking me out of it.

Someone doesn't understand what a scrambler is. Nice looking cafe bike, though.

Looks really good, but I can't really get behind those Scramblers. They look tiny in person. Don't they have a larger one now?

Yeah, I would avoid it. A bit player in a shrinking market.

I had a 2v Griso. It was a relaxing bike to ride, but I could never quite figure out what it was supposed to be. A power cruiser I guess. It was definitely unique, but felt like an answer to a question that no one had asked.

I've got a 2012 Thruxton which is the poster bike for the modern Cafe Racer...

... my resto-mod 1260cc 1983 Suzuki Katana sort of fits the Cafe Racer mould as well, but just gets to the cafe twice as fast as the Triumph.

Thanks! It doesn't look so wicked at the moment though... both forks were leaking so it's all ripped apart on my lift-bench for new seals. Makes me cry to see it like like that so let's all enjoy another "together" picture.

I just found out this morning that a friend of mind made this. It's a Ghost in the Shell Honda.

The Trumpet is a Rickman Metisse. The XKSS Jag was derived from their racing D-Types that used up leftover parts after Jag withdrew from racing following the Lemans disaster. Only a few were made then the factory burnt down.
