				Another Windows XP/Monitor Question
			 
			When i start up my PC the monitor is blank. Why do I have to push the power button off and then back on to see my desktop???

			Does the monitor have its own sleep mode? Did this just start out of the blue? Do you turn your computer off, but leave the monitor on?

			Not sure about a sleep mode, but I turn off just the computer not the monitor.

			Sounds like your monitor is going into hibernation because it lacks a signal. Check the monitors menu for sleep or powersaver mode and disable it or....  just turn the monitor off when the computer is off.
