There was like 4 square inches of ice on the sidewalk in my neighborhood yesterday morning when I took my dog out for a walk. And, Yes, :rolleyes: before you ask, my raggedy old ass DID slip on it! Geez, getting old ain't for p*ssys:D

My entire (tiny) backyard is landscaped in ttropicals, bananas, ferns, etc. It doesn't exactly look like THIS these days:

What's the real purpose of warm weather if you can't rub it all over yourself?

It's already 36F here and going to 30F before morning, but a sunny 45F tomorrow.

As Jared said, 29F and white in Portland now. After slithering home in the 911 on SO-3s, I am either telecommuting or taking the bus to the office tomorrow. Not wild about standing at the bus stop at 5AM tomorrow, but I guess that' why we pluck geese.

Personally, I look forward to consecutive 110-degree days.

27F and 5 inches of snow on my side of Portland as well today.
Telecommuting is the way to go. Can't beat sitting at your home office desk and watching the snow falling outside and the news report talking about all the traffic problems.

its the 122 degree days that are always a treat! funny how you cant tell the difference from 118 degrees days.

with global warming and a giant hole in the ozone just below the border of the u. s. and mexico due to them STILL using R-12. arizona has become 2-seasons...............really hot and really cold. what happened to spring and autumn?

75 on MOnday and now we got an inch of Snow sleet this morning in Raleigh NC.

Schools are closed and we had the usual rash of fender benders & jack-knifed trucks on the freeway.

They weren't predicting any accumulations and we were only expecting a little sleet and then rain.

At least it's better then what happened 6 years ago.
The prediction for snow was only 3 inches and we got dumped with 2 feet:eek:

I cannot keep up.

We just had that front come through Florida, it dropped the temps back into the 70's in the day time and 60's at night.

I was hoping for cooler for an AX this weekend it will probably be mid 80's by Sunday in Miami where the AX is.
