The tendancy is there, not because of the people but because of the system. So no, not all teachers are lazy or "suck", but more of them are/do than if the system were not so scewed to making them that way.

I got paid a lot more than I thought I would, for teaching. ~50$/hr. (2003 -2005 Seattle)

Of course after they take out $'s for all the teacher 'benefits" :rolleyes:it drops a bit. --but still better pay than teaching you bull-headed lib's. :p

It is easy to make blanket statements, then sit back and watch the responses. Most people KNOW they are trolling when they do that......

While "mean" is not always the same as the "median," the word "average" is a more broad term, often used synonomusly with either "mean" or "median" . . .among others (medium, mediocre, fair, middling, indifferent, tolerable.)
