The size of the military, in terms of the GNP, is very relavent. It gives the relative strength of the current military compared to what it was during WW II. Dollars mean nothing. The percentage of our output means everything.

And yes I bash liberals. Why? Because they are responsible for most wars. Sort of like the bad driver whose actions cause a bad accident behind them. They drive on, unaware of the damage they have caused.
