Most impressive new Top Gear Video

In my opinion one of the finest videos ever made highlighting a supercar and its abilities. Watch the entire video.

The Veyron - Episode II

Excellent. Thanks. Put's 120mph in my 911 in perspective.

Wow, amazing. The fuel will run out in 12 min at 250mph, and the tires will only hold together for 15 minutes. To tell you the truth, if I went 250 I'd want to replace the tires.

The only problem that I had with the video is that it didn't include the stig taking the thing around their track. That would have been pretty cool.

I've got the 1/28 and 2/4 episodes downloaded. I guess it looks like I've gotten behind and need to grab the latest too. Sadly, I haven't watched either of the other two yet.

You should try top speed. Probably just a hair under 150 since you've got the widebody. I did 150 once in my '88 (and 145 once with the targa top off). Very cool.

I have well been beyond 120mph (or 200kmh as it is here) but at that speed - actually at anything over 180kmh - my front-end feels like its skating on ice.

I onced managed an indicated 143mph in a Nissan 200SX Turbo (European - shape of the 240SX i the USA) and it was 'suprising' how fast the road went by and how early you had to start braking for the roundabouts (traffic circles).
I think the old boy in the Metro was quite suprised when I passed him too.
There is, in my opinion, a noticable step as you pass 100mph, and another over about 130mph. I just can't imagine 250mph!

Of course that sort of speed is completely irresponsible on a public road.

I was driving 5 south, came over a hill doing 110. I have in front of me a straight road, no traffice, no on/off ramps, nowhere for a cop to hide. I floored it, hit 155. Had been 140 before, but this, this felt really fast. Figured out later that it was close to 200 feet per second.

Darn, you got me messing with pushing plastic as fast as I could go...

I've hit 401KPH, and without a longer straight I don't think I can pull any faster. Its amazing how much more power it takes at that speed to push just a *little* faster.

Its amazing how fast the earth is flying by.....

I once drove my 1999 Turbo Volkwagon Beetle right up to the limiter at 126mph. Despite its shape, the car was solid as rock at speed. I was suprised.
