Radu, thanks for the reply. We should be leaving the SD area sat. I must be at the odometer/speedometer repair store in N Holliwood monday am see if i can get the odometer fixed. If you want to do the run at another time on Sunday its OK. to get the LAPD of your tail. or if you all have other plans I understand. I can also be reached on my cell 727 560 6987 my wife usualy answers. We will be looking to spend sat night in the vecinity . thanks again, Peter

So, how'd it go?

I tried to make it but checked traffic at 1pm (leaving from OC) and there were 3 accidents and lots of red dots between here and there. So, I wussed out and stayed local to skip the traffic jams.

Carol and I made it up but I didn't read the entire post so we ended up waiting at Truck Stop. Drove the course on our way out. It was a great day for a cruise. Next time I'll read the whole post!

It went sort of haywire. We were leaving and Radu's manifold blew into about 8 different pieces. All repairable on the spot, but it took a while.

Had some fun runs through the course.

Chris had an engine mishap and is awaiting the diagnosis.

Heard about that from Dave. Hope it's not as painful as feared. Upon hearing the tentative diagnosis I thought: Wow, that Grivas is a pretty good driver/engineer if he can tell which bearing has spun, just from listening to the motor.
