What ML said ... I don't know much 'bout 'puters, but I always used matched memory. B/c I've heard too many days'-long troubleshooting sessions that turned out to be mis-matched memory.

I dont know about requiring to match memory... I checked all
sites related to this and each state that a solitary RAM chip will be fine... However, I have to stop by Frys today so I will pick up another 533 stick to be sure... The thing is: If it were memory, according to the Intel documentation, it should boot but give some beeps as warnings Its not even close to booting and getting to that point... the problem is probably not RAM...of course i could be wrong so Im going to check it out later. |
