Do they have a pill to make it taste like vanilla pudding yet?

As long as fire isn't shooting out the end of my gun, I'm not sure I care, hollow points, bird shot, wad cutters, blanks, whatever. As long as I'm shooting it's all good.

Yeah, but what am I going to do with this four foot hardon?

Does anyone know how Yahoo spam filter works? I have had this e-mail addr (rocketmail) for at least 14 years and I wanted to see how much spam I get per month. It seems to have stopped at 12,815

Sometimes, maybe after a cocktail, they seem almost poetic: "Washing Monkey Toilet" or "Turning Lecturn Really"

Sorta trippy...

Sounds like a new PPOT game to me. Here is a selection from my spambox. Each line is an actual subject line from a message:

be it meteoritic
a yoke from thy high places of them
to bante
u combat

I or triumphal
In or manipulable
to panama
his grandpa so nuptual

It's a masterpiece. I call it, "Fighting a Horny Old Man."

Here's a dumb question...what is the purpose of spam? Is it all about marketing? It seems that some of it doesn't even contain a marketing message. If it is marketing, are legitimate companies actually sending this crap? Just curious about why and who actually sends spam.

It's about large number marketing theory.

It is estimated that there are over 1 billion internet users worldwide, of which North America makes up over 200 million.

Any good mailing list will have a range of a few thousand to hundreds of thousands of addresses.

Let's say that you send out 100,000 spams with a product that profits you by $10. It costs about 4cents per email if you use a service, or less if you have the software to do it in house. So at 4c, you spend $4k to send these emails.

Let's say you get only 1 sucker to reply for every hundred emails sent (1% response). Let's narrow it down and say out of those 1000 respondants, only half buy your product.

You spent $4k on email advertising, and profited $10*500 buyers - which equates to a $1000 profit.

If you had purchased your own software, your profit is even higher since you would only pay a license fee of ~$0.001 per email.
