You mean German lunchbox cheap ass backwards WWII look? Everyone in Germany sure is glad VW has quit selling WWII technology for good money. That bus (as well as the bug) looked and was built the same for decades. They redesigned a light here and a door there, but nothing really changed since WWII. It was like printing money. The VW line of cars was a darn rip off and made the whole country miserable - have you ever tried to drive an air cooled VW in a cold climate? ![]() I realize there is a cult following for the old VWs and it's fun - but I just couldn't let the "timeless German classic look" slide on the lunchbox van. ![]() George |

It seems to me that the vans handle surprisingly well, but their edge over all the other cars on the track really is in the power. They probably stripped these things down to 2000 pounds and put a 500 hp engine in it.
