Design Patent Process

has anyone here gone through the patent process? We want to register a design patent in boy's apparel.

Talking with our attorneys in NY, we could drop $50K pretty fast on this concept and still be knocked off by China in the blink of any eye. Hoping to get educated before entering unchartered territory.

Not me, but I'm very interested in the topic.

If you need a "rocket docket", the Judge over in Marshall, Texas is known throughout the country as probably the fastest one for patents.

Just gone threw the process with a medical device. Got my US patent in January. Pretty nice feeling!

Within a month we will probably sign a license agreement with a large American corporation.

Been a lot of work. No, let me rephrase that - it has been A LOT OF WORK and next summer it will be five years since we started out by sending in the application for the Swedish patent.

Hope it will now, finally, pay off. Big time!
