FKING THIEVES...again!!!

5 minutes ago I realized I didn't have my wallet. Ran down to the parking lot (parked indoors because its -8* here today), and the dome light was on... I knew someone had been in it. Wallet on the seat, open. I had $260 in it this morning. FOK!

My own stupid fault... but man am I pi$$ed.

Who are the bottom feeders who break into Suzuki Samurais?!?

About a month ago someone grabbed all my change, my maps and my prescription sunglasses and then hammered a screwdriver into the ignition.

I oughta get a video camera and bait them.

Terrible, Jake!

Imagine the video in slow motion, picturing the knee caps of the perps being crushed with a bat. The pain, the agony (remorse is likely too much to ask for) mirrored in their faces.

A couple weeks ago someone used it to hotbox a spliff in the same parking lot. My wife thought I was on the weed again.

Seriously, I think I've been flagged as an easy target. I don't have keys for the thing, so it's always unlocked.

I'd love to set up a camera to catch them... but that money was to buy a digital camera from a friend after work today.

Smoking a joint in a small space... dude

I just called the parking lot to see if they have any security cameras. They couldn't have cared less, other than to mention that they only take cash so I'll have to stop at an ATM before I leave. So, the upside is I get to make a scene when I'm leaving today. No fking way am I paying for parking.

I would love to hear some ideas on how to set up a camera.

Jake,

Set the car up with bait again in a couple of weeks. Get a video of whats happening and put something in there that you do not mind losing.

Sit back and video it happening then turn it over to the police...

I hate thieves... in our part of the country they learn about jail and fast.

I work downtown in a professional building, and I'm parked in the high-buck fancy-a$$ heated parking lot on cold days like this... diesel starting issues. It's my samurai between jags, lexuses and mercedes. Maybe I'm being told that I don't belong.

I generally park for free on the street 5-6 blocks away, never had a problem there.

Then you'd think with all the high dollar cars they will have cameras or security. Hell , how do you think they pay for those high dollar cars, by stealing your stuff...

I am sorry. Got emotionally carried away with the feeling of helplessness in situations like this. Sometimes it feels like good folks are just suppose to take this **** up the assss..

sorry to hear of your bad luck. but what did you expect.

always unlocked, happened before, and you leave your wallet in there?

when i had my old jeep thieves were kind enough not to tear the top when they stole my big speakers that were loosely mounted on the rear wheel wells. they left the rest of the stereo and the other stuff in there.

didn't get to bent out of shape about it since they were basically out there in the open. but good luck on getting good sound out of them...waterlogged from driving in the rain caught with the top off too many times.

I would ask to talk to the manager or owner of the facility. You pay to park there, and deserve better.
