Temporary Caulk???
I have a Air leak in my front door...sure they sell a seal of sorts. that you need to hammer in then there is the sweep at the bottom that never fits.
I use the front door 2 - 3 times a year and never in the winter. Is there a temporary caulk I can use to Seal that thing air tight????

Can you tuck a piece of soft cotton rope or foam in the gap?

I'll need more information to tell whether caulk will do the job, but odds are that a little backer rod stuffed into the crack, covered by some high quality silicon caulk will be a near permanent fix. Can you describe the door and the door and the area where the air leak is in more detail? Is it a matter of putting a little more insulation under the threshold and raising the threshold a little?

If it's at the bottom just fold an old towel enought times to get the proper thickness and slam the door on it.
