Interesting, my doc told me to wear tight fitting undies. I think he said the sack shouldn't hang or stretch, but I imagine every doc has his theories.
Too-small jockstrap works well. Avoid any kind of jarring movement as best you can for 2-3 days. I ended up with a much worse reaction than most of my friends. It's the luck of the draw... had a scar tissue 'adhesion' that didn't let go for about 10 days, so my recovery was prolonged. But then, mine was not 'scalpel-less.'

I'm at work now and everything is fine, just a little tightness, but zero swelling. No actual "pain" to speak of.

I iced it for two solid days and my doc said that was 95% of the battle.

I did break one rule today though, we'll see if it haunts me.

You are incorrigible!

lendaddy,
I'm considering the same "modification" you just had. So, how bad was it? Are you doing OK?

It's fine so far. The boys get a little angry if I'm boppin' around on my feet too long, but a 1/2 hour icing cures em. Based on the progression so far I should be 100% in a day or two.

The whole thing is really easy and I have had zero actual pain, just some discomfort that can be quickly eased.

Like any suffering child, our minor injuries require care and love....and some times need to be kissed better.

I understand completely, proper attention should make the swelling go down and relax any tension you may have felt....do the same treatment every 8 to 12 hours as needed, I figure you should need it for about 6 months....
