Katie and Edwards on 60 minutes

Anyone else watch this?

--Incredible, shallow job of interviewing by couric. She certainly lived up to her rep.

--Unbelievable graciousness by the Edwards to not kick her in the mouth

--Thinly disguised ambition by both of them when answering with, "the country needs and deserves this man. how can I deny the country?"

And network news wonders why they're falling so far behind in the ratings.

I was surprised that she did not get on her knees and give him a BJ it was so one sided.

CBS is getting what they deserve and hope that their ratings drop to the basement.

CBS ratings are worse than when Bob Scheafer was filling in.

Katie sucks! CBS got what they deserved.

Yep.

I have a cousin at the Columbia School of Journalism.

I once asked her, if she could ask Bill Clinton any question, what would she ask. Her face lit up. She said: "I would ask him how he managed to hold the country together despite the repeated partisan attacks."

So as not to be too obvious, a little later I asked her what she would ask President Bush. Her response? "How does it feel to have the blood of so many innocent soldiers on your hands?"

No bias. Move along.

Ask her how she feels about all the innocent soldiers that died during Clinton's two terms:

Active duty deaths during Clinton's first four years (1993 - 1996): 4302

Active duty deaths during Clinton's second four years (1997 - 2000); 3,198

Basically the same brave soldier casualty rate for each president. How about a "While Clinton was blown, soldiers were blown up" bumper sticker.

Ratings would have gone up but sadly am afraid that she is a spitter, so it would not have lasted...

I thought she came off as a hard nose *****head. The press is eating her alive. And she's a hillary supporter, isn't she?

The fact that she enabled Edwards to look gracious and good had the same effect as the bj, I guess.

Besides, she has no lips. She had to draw the little indentation on her upper lip with lipstick.

I agree. this is the wrong job for Katie. too serious.

She should go back to morning TV baking cookies and discussing beach summer wear.

Marry Katie Couric??? Reasoning???? C'mon Joeaksa....

I saw her on a Flight from St. Thomas- she is nowwhere near as attractive as she looks on TV and behaves like a spoiled diva. Cute, sweet and perky she is not. Vapid biased shrew she is.

I'd rather buy a helmet and marry Naomi Campbell.
