Can't believe there are no ALMS topics!
Anybody catch the race yesterday?
After the first corner, I was pretty pissed off. It was bad enough that the Jaime Mehlo pulled the NASCAR move at Sebring to "beat" Jorg in GT2, when obviously Jorg had the win. Then, on the first lap, McNish jumps the start and damages one of the Porsches. Then, an Acura muscles his way through the first corner and hits the other Penske. What is this, Talladega Nights? Luckily, the Acura boys got theirs later on, and the Penskes finished first and second. However, it was still pretty dirty racing, and let a bad taste in my mouth. How do you like the Porsche drivers interviews vs. the Acura drivers interviews? All of the Porsche drivers, including Sascha and Jorg, were pretty cool about everything, considering other people had punted them pretty badly. In contrast, the Acura driver (Franchitti, if I remember) essentially called the Dyson Porsche driver (Briscoe) a brain dead idiot, which, if you watch the replay, the accident was pretty much the Acura's fault - Briscoe even locked up his tires trying to avoid Franchitti's last minute move to the inside. In any case, it was certainly an interesting race, and I'm glad the P-cars came out on top.

I saw the last 30 minutes. ( 25 minutes yellow and five minutes of racing ).
I don't like the street racing track with zero runoff, just concrete K-walls and armco. Recipe for disaster. I want to travel to Le Mans some day. I like the Rolex series better, I think. KT

Those cars shouldn't be on a street course. It's like bumper cars.
