Only One Showed For Lunch
And that was me....the other two....who knows...Got to the Restruant about 10 minutes late, NO JOrdy, NO Fint... Waited a few and called Jordy on the C phone...he had a meeting with the Veep so he was OUT. U gotta do what you gotta do, I understand.
But there was no prior message calling it off....as someone claims to have sent... However since I was there I decided to have lunch anyway. It was good, Med Spicy Beef Sausages of the Restrauants own making with Pita, Hummus, Lebanese Rice Tomatoes and Onions. They make a Custard, Filo Desert with Honey and fresh apples that is killer. $15.00 out the door. Believe me I am going back again.

I would like to profusely apologize for having my Senior VP in town and not being able to sneak out. What about next Tuesday or Wednesday same time same place, my treat!! (you too fintstone).

Will do....Probably Jerry Nugget....U can slum with the best of LV scum down there and see what the REAL LV is like. ....Food is good as most can atest to...Prime Rib 48 oz $32.95 with all the trimins...fantastic deserts all freshly made on the premises.
Any fool can hang at the Belagio, Caesars or the Ventian....all U need is MONEY and they are happy to see U until the money runs out. Or U can hang with the degenerate Gamblers, Drifters and Grifters...the sleze of LV and see what the place is really like. That means a Locals Casino...where goin out to your car after 9PM means U might get to hear some gunfire...maybe even in the Parking Garage where your car is parked. Just depends on whats goin on in the Hood that night. Whenever your in LV didja ever notice that the Hotel has Security Standing by the Elevators...thats so U don't get mugged in the Hallway on your way to your room.

I am very sorry Tabs. You deserve to be angry, but it was just bad karma that Jordi and I both could not make it...I had an emergency...and didn't know how to contact you. I had Jordi's number, but it was at home on the table (great planning, huh?) It was 1130 and I cannot even connect to PP from the internet at work. Secretary tried to contact you at the restraurant...but was unsuccessful. When she gave them your description, they said they did not allow your type in their establishment. I guess a weekday was not a good idea for me. On the bright side, I did keep the bad guys from destroying the world.
I just got home and ate for the first time today (1100 pm). Your lunch sounds great. I am sorry I missed out on it. I think we need to exchange phone numbers so this does not happen again. Want to go to Jerry's Nugget this weekend? Tell me you really don't order the large prime rib. I can hardly eat the small one...much less dessert. The steak fries are really good though. Stoney

I'm in CA until Sunday night (typing from Carlsbad), a couple of meetings today and tomorrow and LegoLand with the kids on Saturday.
Still can do lunch next week ....

If you mean today, just let me know the details. If you mean next Sunday, I expect to be enroute to my reserve duty fo at least a week or two....or perhaps we should try to do plan to something tomorrow with the Pelicans coming to town (see the "Flagstaff" thread) instead....or both. Let me know.
