Hiring a stripper to come over is not stupid at all. The times I've been bachelor parties where this was done, the strippers always came with a guy, who was sort of the bodyguard/bouncer dude. Each time he laid out the rules and then stepped aside. He was never any kind of big or tough guy, but just another witness on the girls' side, in case there was trouble.

Doing something totally legal and common and then having someone make false allegations about the event do not mean it was stupid to do the legal and common thing. The accuser is the lawbreaker here. It could happen to anyone here. You could be babysitting your neighbor's kid or just watching over him in the yard for an hour. Have a neighbo like this stupid stipper....er, exotic dancer.... and you could be looking at all kinds of legal nightmares. Does that mean it was stupid to agree to watch your neighbor's kid? Well, it would if you did it again, I guess.

Rick the idea here is that common sense tells you having a stripper in a frat house is asking for trouble. Or, to use your example, common sense tells a man not to offer to babysit an unknown neighbors little kids.

We see crazy people looking to cash out all the time and it is evident that there are many many people who have no problem ruining the lives of the innocent just to clear a few bucks or get on TV. The smart thing to do is to stay away from those situations. The harm that is done to a person's reputation by such incidents is never completely undone. Right or wrong doesn't really matter when you get to spend the rest of your life known as the 'kid who was accused of raping the stripper'.

One of the guys I work with told me yesterday about when he played football. He said that there were 11 cases of girls filing charges against someone on the team. The only one with any merit was the ex-gf of one of the players.

From a female perspective, I don't think what he said was that bad...I'd be more insulted if someone called me a b!tch than a ho.

I've heard loads worse racial slurs than that, and to think all this uproar was over the fact that he is a white man trash-talking a black basketball team. If Dave Chapelle or Chris Rock said the same exact thing, we wouldn't have this problem. Black guy calls another black guy a name--it's comedy, and completely acceptable, soon as a white guy does it, it's racism and slander.

What about bachelor parties?

Strippers are hired 24/7 in this country with no incident. Now, because of this woman, it's the kids fault for hiring her (just in case.....just in case there's a teeny weeny, remote possibility of what happened)????
