The reason people don't like what Imus said was because the women on the Rutgers basketball team aren't engaged in public discourse. They're not public figures, they don't have a forum, they aren't trying to influence public policy.

They play basketball -- quite well, apparently -- and did nothing to bring on an attack on their looks or character. It's not the words Imus used: It would be just as bad if he had simply said the Rutgers women were ugly and loose.

Ton's he's spent the last three days on the subject, he predicted the MSNBC suspension, and he has predicted that Imus will be fired from NBC radio as well.

He also predicted Imus' hot wife Diedra will leave him within a year.

He also recalled the racist actions Imus took towards Robin when Howard came to work at WNBC as a relative nobody. I do believe Imus referred to Robin as a nigger quite regularly.

He is happy to see someone else getting their butt kicked by the media for a change. He does not agree with the overreaction but knows that deep down Imus is a racist and is not suprised or should I say is happy to see Imus getting burned over this. There is no love lost between them.

Anyone see "Law and Order" Friday night?

The story involved a Coulter type woman,replete with vitriol, even to the police. In one scene, the following exchange between the Coulter type character and Fred Thompson's character (to be referred to below simply as Thompson):

The woman: "Some people like me."

Thompson: Some people like spiders too."

Woman: Spiders eat flies."

Thompson: And we both know what flies eat."

Anyway, I thought it was funny.........
