Ha! Ain't no flies on me - here's my new toy... (may hurt your eyes)
![]() The Yamahahaha commentary: Convenient, fun, affordable, and funky … the new "C Cubed " scooter Scooters make sense. In today's busy world of spiraling fuel prices, limited parking spots and frustrating traffic jams, scooters simply make more sense than ever before. Discover what the Europeans have known for years. Scooters are a fun affordable way to travel around town. Bet you will have trouble wiping the smile from your face. My take: $2000 handy around-town, uptown commuter. I'll be able to bounce between AGMs with ease during earnings season. Enough cargo space to carry 16 beer+. No cargo space to carry girlfriend. Zillion MPG. Easily tweaked for 4x power if I get bored. 130 watt generator for any add-on toys. Laugh - go ahead laugh. I don't care. Scooters and fat chicks are both fun to ride no matter what you say... |

Very cool! A friend of mine rides a vintage Vespa and I really like those, too!

I've been thinking about trying to pick up an old scooter for a couple hundred bucks to fool around with.
My morning commute is only two miles.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I would actually like to restore an old Cushman or maybe even an old Vespa. That said, I would rather ride a small dual purpose bike around town as opposed to one of those wussified minibikes ![]() ![]() ![]()

Tim's right...the shape is very reminiscent of an old 1950's Cushman.

I have a weakness for speed (yeah, like who with a Porsche doesn't?) and am still trying to keep the rust off the pins in my leg from riding "real" motorcycles. Cool thing about the C3 other than the massive storage is it's cudley 49cc - watercooled 4 stroke and auto tranny. Room for the briefcase and comfy to ride in a 3 button jacket. |

Seriously - I've yet to find a better urban conversation starter, the only way you could do better is to walk around with a puppy or a baby in your arms. |
