Why do I have to pee all of a sudden?

I built a pond in my parent's back yard 15+ years ago. Size7'x4'x3'deep in the very center, paisley shaped. Used a 10year pond liner that we just replace in the beginning of spring-> pretty big job in doing this replacement. Rebuilt the waterfall at the same time 3+hours
Concrete pond maybe better.
The dime store gold fish reproduce too quickly, are messy, and are not very majestic. I recommend Koi. (My mother cried when she spied a crane dining on her favorite black,blue, orange, and white Koi)

I second the idea that big wagterfalls are not relaxing. One of these at low flow is quite relaxing.

Also, for a feng shui home, the water feature should be in the front yard.

Here's mine.....been in six months.



I now have "wild frogs"....the croaking at night is OK....don't hear it after the first week.

We had a few leaks and the IR tube for algae screwed up a bit but the guy that maintains the yard now does the pond as well. Had some issues with blown fuses.....

We decided against Koi or other fish as we have Raccoons and Cranes in the area.
